Federal Reserve Board releases minutes from three discount rate meetings
The Federal Reserve Board released minutes covering discount rate meetings held in August and September 2026.

The Federal Reserve Board released minutes on October 13, 2026, from its discount rate meetings held August 17, September 9, and September 16, 2026.
The Board said the meetings were held to review and determine the discount rates provided to depository institutions through the discount window.
The Board said its process for setting the discount rate is distinct from the process the Federal Open Market Committee follows in setting the target range for the federal funds rate.
The Board’s 2026 press releases page lists the item under Monetary Policy.
